In May of 1994, the club purchased a site of 12 acres situated at Buckleys Road, Lake Gillear. Construction of the track started in early 1998 with the limestone base being laid.

In December 1998, the curbing for the track was poured in preparation for the hot mix to be laid. The hot mix was laid in mid-August 1999 and the track was first driven on in November 1999, with our first official race meeting was held on January 16, 2000.

Club days are usually held on the last Saturday of the month. Open race meetings are also held each year – check the Calendar page for exact dates.

The track is located at 162 Buckleys Rd Lake Gillear. The track is 747m long x 8m wide and drivers race in an anti-clockwise direction. The track has a grid capacity for 28 karts and has three Alfano magnetic strips for timing purposes.
